TOKYO (JPN): World indoor 60m champion Jordan Anthony will contest the 200m at the Golden Grand Prix in Tokyo on 17 May (WACT Gold).
As previously announced, Noah Lyles will race in the 100m, and world champion Rai Benjamin goes head-to-head with Muzala Samukonga in the 400m. Early season world leader Rumesh Tharanga Pathirage from Sri Lanka goes head-to-head with European champion Jakub Vadlejch in the men’s javelin, and Olympic champion Haruka Kitaguchi faces 2022 European champion Elina Tzengko and 2023 world silver medallist Flor Denis Ruiz in the women’s javelin.
