The second night of the World Championships was a night celebrating just how exciting track & field can be! Noah Lyles had been telling people that he would do something special in the 100 meters, and he did it! “Impossible is Nothing,” as his sponsor, adidas tells us.

Noah Lyles meant business in each round, and in the final, he used all of those 100 meters to take the win, and the celebrations began.

We can not wait to see him in the 200m rounds!

The Men’s 10,000m was a showcase for Uganda’s Joshua Cheptegai, who used a swift last lap to show just who is the finest 10,000m in all of the world. Remember, he owns WRs at 5,000m and 10,000m!

All these superlatives are exhausting us! But we have the energy for seven more magnificent nights and days!
