Week 1, Day 7, Recovery Week One 

Today, take a 30-minute run or 45-minute walk.

This is the beginning of our two—to three-week recovery time. The idea is to get a physical, mental, and spiritual break. We read books, nap, goof off, and get outside and enjoy nature.

The workouts will be three days a week, and you can walk or bike to get you moving.

Each day, we will have an inspirational story for you.

Elle St. Pierre surprised many with her 3000m gold medal at the World Indoors in 2024.

She should not have surprised anyone.

Elle St. Pierre, under the guidance of Mark Coogan, former Olympic marathoner (1996), has been on a trajectory for excellence for several years.

Possessing wonderful leg speed (4:16.41 for a mile), 3000m PB of 8:20, and 5,000m PB of 14:34, Elle recently ran a 3:56.00 for the 1,500m also PB.

Watch Elle on Monday at the 5,000m and next weekend at the 1,500m.

This Vermonter is one tough athlete and a great role model for young women athletes!

A 30-minute easy run.

If you need something to do outside (it is hot today), walk 30 minutes early, ride a bike, or, best yet, take an easy swim and enjoy the day!
