Today is a recovery day, the beginning of week five.

Your workout today:

Warmup well,

45-55 minutes of running on good footing, perhaps trails or cleared sidewalks, just be careful,

6 x 150m stride outs,

Cooldown well,

Hydrate,

change out of your wet clothes,

Recover.

Larry’s Deep Thoughts: The Spring and Summer seasons are the big times in track and field. Indoor is a wonderful time, but please remember to focus on the big goals. I suggest that if you are going to race indoors, use the races to build your speed and race experience.
